Documents play an important part of WCS. These could be Meeting minutes and agendas or annual reports and project reports that you want to securely share with users. You can create groups and sections in which documents can be stored in. Uploading a document can be done in a couple of clicks, then you can add extra meta data (keywords, descriptions) which helps others find the document using the search features.
Once uploaded documents can automatically be emailed to users according to the access they have been granted. Users can choose how often they receive email alerts, giving them the power to mange they own interactions with the website. These documents can be automatically embedded into pages on the site, meaning that once a document is uploaded it can appear on a page without you needed to carry out any more steps.
When logged in users will only see documents they have access to, and the search is user aware meaning that the search will only find documents they can access.
